Our Holiday Traditions

Faerie Lark and I begin collecting our Christmas decorations early...pressing flowers in the spring and summer...drying berries in the fall...and create beautiful garlands for our Christmas tree. Faerie Lark, since she loves bells, collects those all year and hangs them on the tree as well. We also like to make some decorations out of seeds and fruits for our avian friends. In return, one of our namesakes (i.e. the lark :)!) flies up in the night sky and catches us a star to place on the top of our tree. Since we live in the glen, we have plenty of living Christmas trees to choose from, and we pick a new one each year, so none of the trees feel left out. :)

On Christmas Eve, we and our fae, spirit, and forest friends all gather together to celebrate the wonder and joy of this magical night. So, if on Christmas Eve, you hear the faint tinkling of bells and see a glow of fluttering colored lights...you're enjoying a little of the magic of the Glen. :)

Our Holiday Adoptions

Faerie Lark and I are definitely cat lovers...you can usually find our little faerie kitty, Ally, running around with one of us! So, in honor of Ally, we adopted a very special holiday Fairy Kitty!

It doesn't snow in the Glen, so Faerie Lark and I adopted this snowglobe because of its beautiful scene!

Angel had so many beautiful fae and angels available in her
Gingerbread House that Faerie Lark and I had to adopt them! :)
